		<description>Yes, there were devices demo&#039;d by reporters at the event. That doesn&#039;t really tell us much, because they are not really production units, but late prototypes. Things can change. They don&#039;t always, but with a product being pushed against a holiday deadline, it can happen.

Some people only want to see the sunniest picture of the future they care about. There&#039;s lots of good about Nook, but it&#039;s still far from a perfect solution because of the different issues I mentioned. I&#039;ve found that by discussing things critically, we can move faster toward a future.</description>

		<description>Mitch, I read your blogs, several articles from zdnet and engadget, saw the picture in the WSJ, but has anyone, outside of B&amp;N, even had their hands on one of these?  Until we get some demos and reviews of the actual product, there is no way of knowing how it will perform.  For me, its a great next step in the e-Reader market and the fact that Barnes and Noble is doing this, and developing other readers is only good for us: the readers, and the marketplace.  

Not sure where the justification for any negativity to your comments come from at all.  We are all talking, thinking about a product that has not been field tested.</description>
